Shagunn unveiled the wedding saga

To showcase the highlights of its forthcoming event Shagunn – a complete wedding saga to be held between 21 – 22nd August at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, Innov Events organized a press preview with its brand ambassador Jacqueline Fernandez and well-wisher politician Amar Singh at the DLF Emporio Mall, New Delhi recently.
 
 
 
The event which is a brainchild of Neha Bothra, featured a rich and textured fashion installation by city’s leading bridal couturiers. Cuisines and concepts, leading wedding planners, played co host this evening. The evening witnessed exquisite collection showcase by Adarsh Gill, Charu Parashar, Mandira Wirk, Varija Bajaj, Joy Mitra, Taniya Khanuja and Parul Grover, all of whom will be exhibiting at Shagunn later next month.
 
 

Present on the occasion were prominent Delhi designers and celebrities including Monisha Bajaj, Anil Lepps, Varija Bajaj, Vinod Kaul, Ramneek Pantal, Kanchan Kapoor, Liza Verma, Mamta Malhotra, Charu Parashar, Ammu Saidi and Taniya Khanuja.

 
 
True to its word on making visitors feel the royalty, Innov Events is working around the theme of regal, royal, Rajwada wedding. Stalls at Shagunn are reasonably priced and exotically designed. Innov events looks at inviting participation from the following categories: Bridal wear and jewelry designers,  Trousseau Packagers, wedding planners, travel and honeymoon planners, promoters of destination weddings, wedding florists, pre- nuptial spas and make-up artists and caterers etc.
 
 
 
 

Football Fever and Frenzy

The football World Cup 2010 final saw an exciting evening hosted by AMP Motors of Jaguar Land Rover fame at the LAP Garden in Hotel Samrat, New Delhi. With a guest list that consisted of the who’s who of Delhi’s glitterati, the event celebrated sports mania and luxury motoring in one resplendent package. With a number of Jaguar’s coveted sports cars and luxury sedans on display, the evening had a unique backdrop while the guests had a gala time cheering their teams on and partaking the sumptuous food and drinks. Colours of the FIFA World Cup dominated the décor while Margaritas and Daiquiris adorned the bar tops.

Two new products have been launched by VLCC catering to the pre and post natal care of women under their proprietary 'Shape Up'. Keeping the pre natal requirements of women in mind, a stretch mark control light oil and a stretch mark control cream were introduced into the market.

Designer NIYA BAJAJ presented the latest from her creative series of fashion installations at THE LAP GARDENS,Hotel Samrat recently. The evening witnessed a heavy footfall of capital’s champagne brigade and eminent style connoisseurs who came forward to encourage this budding talent.
 
The fashion installations conceptualised and facilitated by Nitya portrayed different themes through garments and the designer's statement jewelry. The first image LOVE THE SKIN YOU ARE IN was was based on narcissm. The second was based on ACID ATTACK and had neon fluorescent colors and the third was DENIMMANIA, which Sujata Assomull,editor,harpers bazaar India coudn’t stop craving about.
 
Besides the regular glitterati, others fashionistas included Manish Arora, Samant Chauhan, Abdul Haldar, Prashant Verma, Abhijeet Khanna, Restaurateur AD Singh, Ashitta Maubdgill, Montu Tomar, Kajal Srivastava, Ritu Singh and photographer Rahul Dutta.
